Mylopotas beach in Ios Greece
Mylopotas beach is a gold sandy beach with beatiful blue-green water. The beach is located in the south west side of Ios island in Greece and it is approximatelly 4 km. from the port. The length of the beach is about 500 m and it is surrounded by a small bay that helps to keep the waves small. Also note that you will find only sand both on the beach and in the water. Mylopotas is a well organized beach with water sports, umbrellas, sun beds, restaurants, bars, gift shops and mini markets. There is a bus that can get you to Mylopotas all day long with often itineraries and the bus stop is almost on the beach! Regarding your vacation, it is considered one of the hot spots of the island as it offers both tranquility and party time depending on the location you visit. Mylopotas beach is also the fifth best beach of Europe and one of the many in Greece that has been awarded with a "blue" flag, a rating system that indicates that it is clean, well organized and has good transportation system. |
